As some may know, I have recently taken on a leadership role in FEDIAF, the voice of the European pet food industry. FEDIAF plays a crucial role in ensuring that our furry friends get the nourishment they need, with a staggering 352 million pets being fed across the European Union.
But it doesn't stop there. By being a part of FEDIAF, I am directly contributing to the happiness and well-being of 166 million pet owners. Your love and care for your beloved companions are at the heart of our work, and it's an enriching experience to know that our efforts positively impact so many lives.
And let's not forget about the exciting future. The pet food industry is not just booming, but it's also a hotbed of innovation and growth. With a projected business value of a whopping 29.2 billion euros in 2022, the industry is ripe with opportunities for us to make a significant impact and shape the future of pet nutrition.
